The community can improve it, and develop when Timothy is not around. Of the Dev does not want a bunch if clones he can post it under a no derivative license.13 votes
As some imageboards already support this format (like Danbooru), webm support would be interesting.25 votes
This looks doable and I can see a use for it/
http://zerochan.net supports tags and favorites and I would love to see it working in Crumby5 votes
This website looks cool, why not? :)
There are other websites on the list; once those get pushed out of the way, expect this one shortly.
We have most of the other important Boorus… we should have this one as well, I believe.
No definites just yet.
you had mentioned it to add but i dont see it26 votes
Certain websites are not shown automatically through the suggestion feature because they break Google Play’s TOS.
You can still access rule34.paheal.net by just typing that fully into your Omnibar and pressing “go”
Show tag suggestions as you type, ie typing "small" would show a list of tags containing that word, from which you could select one51 votes
Good idea; one I’ve been meaning to do for a while. It’ll take some time though, so hang tight until then!
Just a general suggestion. There are databases for id3 tag on music. Why no database with image tags based on md5 of image?
support for external tag database based on md5 or other hash of file.3 votes
I had an idea about how to solve this problem and a bunch more like it. A few people know what I’m talking about— expect a blog post announcing it within the next month :-)
an exit button in The drawer that closes the app and "force quits" so it doesn't stay in the ram.
optitional an "exit and clear cache" button4 votes
I can put this into the next release, no problem.
I was waiting for this.
History in general is quite doable. I was thinking about having another “tab” in your side menu, just for your history.
What do you think, Anon?
Add a gallery for all the saved pics and have the tags stored in metadata and be able to search them
Add a gallery for all the saved pics and have the tags stored in metadata and be able to search them like you normally would on the otehr sites?38 votes
I thought of an awesome way to solve this problem.
I’ll detail it in a blog post in the future.
Some boorus have a note funtion that contain translations from different languages of artist commentary.38 votes
This is a feature I want myself. Having it will also be useful if & when Facebook support is added.
It might be a bit difficult; I’ll have to think about it a bit more.
Most boorus (and deviantart also I believe) support adding an image to your favorites. It'd be nice to be able to do this in-app. This feature would depend on the ability to log into sites, of course.26 votes
I figured out a way to solve this problem without an account, but it will not be ready for a while.
Animated Thumbnails for GIFs and better support for GIF performance (with on/off option for slower phones)
IDK if it's only me, but when I open a post with an animated GIF, the framerate for it is veeeery low. The GIFs are faster in the Browser, which it shouldn't, because it's Crumby :) . Also, animated thumbnails will be nice. So we know it's an animation before we read the tags.34 votes
GIFs in Androids are quite hard to do right.
While I explore a better solution for this, I would recommend, as a temporary workaround for very old & slow phones, downloading the gifs and then opening them in QuickPic.
i had post some of my art on deviantart and none wont play. and on GIF wont either7 votes
This will require another look and probably won’t get fixed by the next release.
I have noted that this is necessary though!
You can now open your web browser with a URL through Crumby, even on error messages.
For those who have flashfox installed, this means that you can just click “try in web browser” when the SWF error occurs.
Please let me know if you would like more integration with Crumby though.
EDIT: Still thinking about a good way to approach this problem!
Is this neko-booru.com or neko.booru.org?
It would be great to have the User Interface and application icon be redesigned to follow the Google design guidelines which can be found here: https://developer.android.com/preview/material/get-started.html40 votes
I would like to do this in the future, but there are many more functional things with the app that need to be fixed first.
Similar to Pururin in function, but much closer to Gelbooru in software, I believe. Actually its even run by the same staff, IIRC.18 votes
Interesting; I’ll take a look to see what I can do to support this website.
A slideshow feature would really set this app apart. Not high priority but a neat tool I'd like.20 votes
A kind of one-handed mode, huh? … I’ll think about this :-)
- Don't see your idea?
